On June 5, 2012 Zippo produced their 500 millionth lighter……….yes I said 500 MILLION!
To commemorate the occasion they released 2 lighters that featured a distinct bottom stamp…..a Brushed Chrome and an Armor model.
Zippo also randomly produced around 20,000 lighters that had the bottom stamp. I frantically drove all over town and then some to find one.
I spent hours and hours looking at bottom stamps in Zippo display cases at every gas station and smoke shop…….and never found one.
Just recently a very good friend sent me this one………..and what makes it even cooler is it’s on the Indiana Jones Complete Adventures Bu Ray release from Germany!
Definitely a gem in my collection!
