David has been collecting Zippo lighters and other Zippo items for 34 years. His passion is cataloging and displaying his collection. The history and “backstory” of Zippo items in general is what makes the hobby fun in his opinion.
His interests include New England Patriots items, salesman sample and advertising pieces, Pill Boxes, Advertising Zip-a-flints and anything with his last name on it. David was fortunate enough to visit Bradford PA in 2016 for ZenFest where he got to tour the museum and meet many other Zippo collectors with whom he has formed great friendships with. “Zippo friends are the best friends you can imagine” he has said on many occasions.
Non-Zippo interests include travel, web-design, motorcycles, NFL football and spending time with his family.
